Silent Running

The brief

A spot for an invented electric sedan whose whole benefit is silence: prove it without a spec, a decibel number or a voice-over.

The craft

1. 01Restraint as the joke: a sleeping fox, an owl and an old dog, and a car that passes all three without disturbing anyone.
2. 02Near silence as the soundtrack. The car makes no sound at all; the one piano chord arrives with the dog’s sigh.
3. 03A clean car with no badges or lettering, so a client’s real marks can be composited exactly.
