Ad localization re-makes one ad for other languages. Instead of subtitles or a dub laid over the original, Mockumentary re-performs the spoken lines in the new language so mouths, timing and delivery match the words, keeping the same picture, cast and edit. Real performers need written consent for every language.

We need written consent from every person who is shown or voiced. We never recreate a real person without it, and AI-generated work is labeled as such.

About ad localization
Is this a dub?
No. A dub replaces the voice and leaves the mouth saying the original words. We re-perform the shot so the mouth, timing and delivery belong to the new language.
Can you localize an ad with a real actor in it?
Only with the actor’s written consent covering each language and use, which usually means a rider on their existing contract. Without it we recast the role with a generated performer.
Who checks the translation?
A native speaker you choose, or one we arrange, signs off the adapted script before anything is rendered, and checks the finished cut.
